Duties of the Commission
1. To follow the course programs taught in other universities in Turkey and abroad,
2. Informing the Head of Department about the course programs followed and ensuring that the necessary arrangements are made,
3. Organizing the course syllabus (in line with surveys and suggestions),
4. To work with the Head of Department in solving problems related to the courses reported as a result of the consultancy services,
5. To revise the course files.




Infrastucture Commission

Duties of the Commission
1. To identify the infrastructure deficiencies of the department and inform the Department Chair,
2. To receive and provide requests for infrastructure deficiencies of laboratories or classrooms,
3. To identify and provide the needs of Student Laboratories,
4. To forward the incoming malfunction notifications to the Department Chair and ensure that they are resolved,
5. To follow up equipment maintenance activities,
6. To implement the annual maintenance plan,
7. To maintain the calibration certificates issued by the calibration companies,
8. To report the deficiencies from the Laboratory Safety and Waste Management Commission to the Department Chair.

1. To organize and implement the orientation study for new students,

6. Creating a web group for the communication of students and graduates,
7. Publishing the Accreditation and Quality policy on the department web page,
8. Bringing together students and the public with scientific activities, to plan and organize these activities.

Duties of the Commission
1. Making preliminary preparations for the internship and informing the students,
2. Making necessary monitoring for the on purpose run of the internships,
3. Examining internship books and/or related documents and evaluating the internship,
4. Organizing ERASMUS internship mobility together with ERASMUS coordinator in accordance with ERASMUS internship mobility principles,
5. Making preliminary evaluation of students with scholarship for abroad internships other than ERASMUS.

Laboratory Safety and Waste Management Commission

Duties of the Commission
1. To prepare and update the Laboratory Safety Manual,
2. To provide laboratory safety training to the people who will work in the laboratory,
3. To ensure the safety of the people working in the laboratory,
4. To follow the inventory prepared by the depot-waste manager,
5. To follow the update of the list of all chemicals taken into the department,
6. To identify infrastructure deficiencies for Occupational Safety and to report this to the Infrastructure Board,
7. Receiving annual maintenance requests from department laboratories, preparing the plan and reporting this to the Infrastructure Board,
8. To report any failures in laboratories to the Infrastructure Committee,
9. Ensuring that waste is removed without harming the environment and people,
10. To keep records of accidents that occur in the department.
